Default finished swap now lots of smoke

i finished putting a 95 d16z6 into a 95 cx.. right now as it sits only the upper portion of the exhaust manifold is bolted up.. when i start the car it smokes heavily.. almost a white color.. figured it was head gasket but after pulling the head and checking the surfaces with a straight edge it was determined all was good.. i start it up.. smoke again.. i check the oil level and its ok.. checked timing.. 16* btdc so thats not it.. the car seems to be running very lean.. i pulled the plug wires and the cylinders smoked like a snoop dogg video..pulled the plugs and they are all soot black... pulled the vaccum line off of the FPR so it runs rich, yet nothing happened.. could it possibly be a faulty FPR.. also i noticed coolant wasnt running thru the hoses.. almost 100 percent sure the waterpump is seized.. but would that cause smoke??

thanks in advance

SO let me get this straight.... you wanna know where the smoke is coming from when you only have HALF of the exhaust manifold hooked up? Think about this for a minute.

Running it like that, you probably burnt the valves.

If your water pump is siezed, you would wreck the timing belt.... So it could just be bad, meaning not turning the way it is supposed to. Replace it if it is in question.

What ecu are you running? I hope a p28.

If there is no coolant going through the hoses, change the damn thermostat. Or remove it all together.
