Alright so i bought some 99 si civic seats in hopes of puting them into my ef.


I knew i had to do a seat pan swap, but after getting both the pans out i found the i would have to cut the pivit point on the 89 seat pan off and weld on a new on. This would be the only way to make the seats work.


Should i have gone with gsr seats instead? Would they have been easier to swap in or would i be forced to weld on the new pivit point bracket.


Does anyone have any pics of the rail assembly of the gsr seats?


I would really like some help from anyone that has put gsr seats or anyother seats in their ef.


Yes i have searched, and i still feel like i don't have all the info i need.

 

I have seen several people put GSR seats in there EF. Most of the time they just make custom brackets. I am sure that you can have some custom brackets made for you situation. I think that it would be much easier to just have some brackets made. I can almost garuntee you that the contour of the bottom cushion on the 99 seats will not match the contour of the EF seat pan therefore making the cushion sit funky inside the EF pan. I personally think that the GSR seats would be nicer anyway but that may not be your cup of tea. So with that I hope I helped a little. Good Luck.
