I think some people used like a accord or element plastic piece to glue one....

I don't know about anyone else but the 2.5 ft. my arm travels from the gas door to the roof of my car just doesn't seem like that much of a burden.

exactly what I was thinking.......maybe he is wanting to know due to the fact that eh has forgotten to re-install it a time too many. Who knows.....

 

lol that write-up is hilarious....cant believe a unclosed cap on a VW can cause a CEL (which i hear is ******* EXPENSIVE to re-set)

not when you are like me and have a SCAN TOOL to diagnose and reset ANY code I want aside from some manufacturer specific Ferrari, Lamborghini, BMW and Porsche codes. Those jerks have cost me a lot of money in the past......I hate being a technician and have to bring a car to the dealership to reset a code or find out what it is. Makes me feel inadequate as a technician.

theres a gas cap holder in the DA integras i think
i lost my cap at the gas station a few weeks ago.. had to buy another for 6 bucks.. i need a cap holder haha

All I know is that the cap handle thingy fits perfect in that rubber body line on the roof.

I've always just sat it on top of the pump while refueling. I really hate to sit things on my paint.
