Default Help: 96 Civic EK Suspension tips

Right now my civic is extremely bumpy after being stolen. Before being stolen I was riding on 15 inch Rotas 195/50/15, with Stock Struts, and Tein S Tec Springs. At that time the car was a smooth ride. Now I am back on Hubcaps, with 135/75/13 I think... But The big difference from the car previously and now is that the ride is EXTREMELY BUMPY! I think because the car was found sitting on the rotors, and it was just to much leverage on the stock struts which caused it maybe to be blown. I think i need to replace the struts what type should I buy with my current setup. Or is something more wrong then just my struts on my vehicle.

Thank you

Peter

KYB AGX's are good, lower price with medium performance.
but i believe everyone that has koni yellow adjustables swears by them.
and i hear koni yellow struts + ground control coil overs = great street/track ride, since both the struts and springs are adjustable.

I think they are trying to tell you to purchase new shocks. Who knows what happend when they took it?? They might have pushed the car off a flatbed!?! Or it could bethe wheels you have on the car now.

Did you replace the rotors?? Maby you should get the car inspected??

I have KYB AGX with Tein S-tech and I still haven't put them on yet but i did some research before and few people said good for daily driving and street performance!...Cause i dont' want something too stiff (pure performance) but also comfortable enough for daily driving.

Maybe the tires are a factor in your bounce?

Okay thanks. So I should just take it into the shop, and ask for a suspension inspection? Sorry for the stupid questions but this is my first owned car, and alittle new to fixing cars. I shouldnt pay more then 20 bucks for an inspection? Thanks
