Mostly he's just telling people what to do. And if u disagree he goes off about how he's this big badass porsche mechanic, and how he knows what he's talking about because his G20 has like 500HP. LOL

In truth, well yah, him an Ed are doing the work and im watching, taking pictures, and drinking beer.... You know, moral support.

To real car guys, there is no such thing as a useless swap. Plus, this particular one is nearly as expensive as one would think. You just have to be resourceful and not pay top dollar.

Haha, figured my name would give me away! I'll swing by and talk to you about it this week. Need some info on the cams.

If you know of anyone who wants a steering wheel and Honda adaptor, let me know, I have one on eBay. See the link. http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfr...tangs

Looks like I'll have to come over and provide moral support along with you as this project continues. I'll be sure to bring some beer.

Will do I'm sure. Hopefully soon, too. I drink lighter beer though so I'll bring some darker stuff for you two freaks. I like dark women, but not dark beer. The other way around with you two gearheads.

Once this truck is done, I'm not driving anymore when we go to get food or where ever!

Thank you! New swaps like this are awesome. Not to mention critical in keeping our hobby alive and ticking! At least it's not a SBC(small block Chev), like a lot of other mini-trucks I used to see!.

Yeah, swap has been done before. There is a mazda from the northeast( jersey or new york???) that has it.
I don't know if it ever got all buttoned up, but did run...had no intake tube or air filter though.
Any other plans for the truck. I have heard the four by fours have larger axles in the rear end, but this is uncomfirmed.

Also, if you are going to be bagging it or anything, the 87/88 rx-7 turbo independent rear suspensions are pretty popular, and can be found with an lsd.

you guys should have shoved a big *** v8 into it...not a little honda engine....i must agree thats quite a waste of an f20c
you guys probably could have stuck a v8 with more power in it for less.....

I doubt for LESS! The entire engine and gearbox only cost us $900.00 from craigs list. its out of a rolled s2k that the guy bought back from his insurance and parted out. Got the rear diff, axles, and ecu as well... I call that a steal..

No independent crap going in this truck. Will probably go with a Ford 8.8 since they are not too expensive and can be found with disc brakes very easily. I won't give anymore away until the owner of the truck says it's cool.
