Default IAB question

I just had a Jdm h22a put in and the IAB selenoid was smashed so it wasn't working. So I hooked the vaccum lines to the one that used to be on my intake resenator. Seemed to work fine, opend the Iab on the manifold around 4500-4800 rpms or so like normal. Just wondering if there could be any trouble in doing this or any one else has ever done it...

They are Identical solenoids and you will have no problems

Thanks, that's what I was asssuming. Also I wonder if the intake soleniod opens up the exact same time the manifolds does? Since I do have the intake soleniod plugged into it's original spot. I just extended the vaccum line over to reach the iab.
