-- PARTS PURCHASED FOR B16A CRX PROJECT --
To all Members,
I have just purchased some parts for my B16A Honda CRX project car. I want to know what the potential of these parts are in a B16A if possible and whether or not I got a good deal! All these parts I am about to list is brand new still in boxes and shrink wrap. I got them all from a very good friend of mine that has decided to step out of the scene for a while. Here is the list of parts:
Buddy Club Spec3+ Cams
Supertech Dual Valve Springs
Supertech Retainers
Supertech Race Valves
Toda Timing Belt
CTR N1 Crank Pulley
ARP Head Studs
ITR Intake Manifold
B&M Fuel Pressure Regulator
B&M Fuel Pressure Gauge
B16A Water Pump
B16A Piston Rings (st)
ACT Streetlite Flywheel
Exedy Stg1 Clutch Kit
Profab Intake Gasket
All of these parts I purchased for $1,250.00... It was really a situation where my buddy needed some cash right then, and he offered it to me for that price. I have not checked the full retail on all of these parts. I do know that this guy does not buy cheap parts for his projects. What do you guys think?

Even though you have all those items its still basically a stock b16a with nice cams..I hope you do some porting on the intake and exhaust and raise the compression so the cams can work..And the valves were unecessary..What size are they,, std or oversized.?? I hope they're not oversized because with your setup you could actually lose HP..
To be honest with you I would get rid of the N1 crank pulley and I will tell you why. Stock crank pulley has a rubber dampner that absorbs the vibrations at high RPM's. The problem with the N1 crank pulley is that it does not have a rubber dampner therefore the vibrations will eventually ruin your bearings. It does not happen overnight but believe me after some time of driving your vehicle you could very well damage your bearings from the excessive vibration. Just something to consider. I know of a shop that has a N1 Style crank pulley that retains the rubber dampner. Let me get you a link. I dont rember it off the top of my head.
