Default Refinishing Center Console?

The part of my center console, right in front of the shifter, is scratched up and a bit faded. I tried Meguiar's Plastic Polish but it just made the faded part look worse. Has anyone used trim paint or something similar to refinish this part?

Thanks!

Alex

Did you paint it similar to stock? What kind of paint did you use? I'm thinking of using the trim paint that I used to paint my lip.

to eliminate scratches, go buy 220, 400, 600, 800 and 1000 grit sand paper. Start from 220 and sand it down, next use the 400, and the same steps up to 1000...

Later, paint it with krylon Fusion plastic paint.......

worked perfecly for mine......
