peterson oil pump????
was thinking bout running the oil pump off the cam gear any input ?yeah or neah ,,i know they run the waterman fuel pump from their but im not sure if the oil pump is a bit to much
You can run the pump off the cam, you will not need a reduction pulley. Sean Carlson did it on his Focus, we made him a gear for it. It is always better to keep the pump low though.
Be careful with the tension of the belt. I've done what you are talking about, driving the pump at a 1:1 ratio to the cam gear, just be careful which direction you pull the tension, and how much tension you apply.
I would rather you drive the pump off the crank at 1/2 speed. That's the safest route.

i would love to but being this is in a civic i just dont have the room never mind the pump just the ati or fluidamper it self dont fit you got to notch the chassis wich i really dont want to do this is a street car set up for sfwd last season then i got to mod to mount the pump in a good spot wich i dont mind doing but as i get deeper and deeper into this it seems like everything is a prob with this pump so im looking at a diferent route on running this pump

this set up is great for a b series their are no probs at all,,,, i got a h22 wich rite off the bat has the alternator on the front rite about where you have the pump mounted then the boot is it is in a civic chassis so the dampner {ati or fluid]sits rite under the frame rail and thats after you beat the frame rail to barely fit under then you have to mount the peterson gear on front of that wich means i wound have to mount the pump under the chassie so the belt dont run into the frame rail

You should call Z10.
They have a kit that replaces the factory H22 pump and allows the dry/wet sump belt to sit "behind" the timing belt. That should eliminate your concern.
