Default HID KIT without a projector headlight?

i want to install the McCulloch 6000K HID kit on my stock EM1 headlight. will these give me a true HID beam, meaning that straight line/beam when parked in front of a wall. do i need to run a projector headlight? has anyone have this kit on their vehicle??

No, you will not achieve the beam pattern you are looking for my simply installing a drop-in kit. In fact, the pattern will be relatively poor and there will be a great deal of glare and scatter. The stock Civic housings were not designed to properly control and distribute the light generated by HID capsules.
