h22a WONT START! (no one knows what to do)
Specs:
- 1992 Honda Prelude Si
- Manual Transmission
History:
- 1st engine was 2.2 SOHC? Replaced after 30,000 miles due to owner using NOS.
- 2nd engine was 2.1 SOHC? with 90,000 miles on it.
Scenario:
My h22a engine / LSD Transmission /w ECU + complete swap package arrived Monday, Jan 23rd. Finally 6 days later they said it was done but there was a small problem.
mechanic: "When the engine is cold, it idles very rough and if you drive it, it will move weakly and sputter. After 4-5 minutes of running and warmed up, it runs awesome."
I figured I would take it later to someone who knew what they were doing to fix it finally. I drove it all night and it did run like a bueaty. But when I woke up today, the car would turn over...and die. It turns on for a second and dies. I tried keeping it going with a little gas, but it would die.
The honda dealership in town won't take a look at it. Help someoneeeee
THANKS
*edit* When I brought the car in, the radiator fan ran for like 10-15 minutes everytime I shut off the car. The mechanic mentioned something about a temp. sensor problem, but didnt fix it.....what should I do in this situation
