Low pro's on 15's?
I was just wonderin, what is the lowest profile tire I can get for a 15" rim?
I wanted to get something like a 40. I don't think anyone makes em, but I just thought i'd ask.
If there is a manufacturer round, could you please reply and let me know?
Thank you!
Rims r goin on my 88 hatch btw. And I think 17's are just way too big, and 16's... maybe but I had my heart set on some real light weight 15's. Want something small, but I don't want a HUGE sidewall.

I'm pretty sure that the smallest sidewall for 15's is a 50series. 40 would be too small for 15's, IMO they'd look like low-rider daytons...stick with a 50 series, more balance as well as protection from those potholes!
50 series looks just fine...i remember when i made the switch from going from 16's all my life, to having 15's on my car...i always thought i was going to have "snow tires". but after i got some 205/50/15's, i was very pleased with how they looked....now im never going back.

Yeah I remember seeing something like 195/45-15 tires on a CRX long time ago. This is actually just a tad smaller than the 175/50-13 tires that come stock on 5th gen Civic DX's and CX hatchbacks. I'm not sure what tires came on the 4th gen cars, but I would just go with a 195/50-15 tire.
