aprx. 2/24: I send an email to mikek@typerparts.com to request a quote for the ITR Clutch pack on typerparts.com (here).
2-26: I get a response with the quote for the complete kit, and rear main seal
2-28: I call 1-800-79acura, and give mike k my information to purchase the itr clutch pack, rear main seal, and release/throw-out bearing. Mike says 2 bottles of tranny fluid is also included and it will be there in 1-2 weeks.
3-6: Card hasn't been charged, so i call 1-800-79acura and speak with Mike K. He said package would be shipped that day.
3-13: Package isn't here yet and card still hasn't been charged. I call 1-800-79acura, but i don't get a hold of mike k, but kevin. Kevin seems irritated (says he's over worked), tells me to call back in 20 minutes. I call back, kevin askes me to leave my info and will have mike k get back to me. (package is shipped this day)
3-21: Package is at my house.
3-23: I come back from school, and check contents of box (as on packing slip also); 1 Pressure Disk (22300-P3F-005), 1 Friction Disk (22200-P73-R01), 1 Oil Seal (91214-P2f-A01), and 1 bearing (22810-P21-003, i'm not sure which bearing this is, but i assume this is release as this part# does not match pilot part#).

Now my quarrel. I thought i was getting the ITR Clutch pack as advertised on typerparts.com which list; 22300-P73-025 PRESSURE PLATE, 22200-P73-R01 FRICTION DISC, 22100-P73-005 FLYWHEEL, 91006-634-008 PILOT BEARING, 90034-689-000 CLUTCH BOLT, 90011-PH3-000 FLYWHEEL BOLT

This means i didn't get flywheel, clutch bolt, flywheel bolt, approperiate pressure disk (part# doesn't match ad list), pilot bearing and the 2 bottles of brake fluid which Mike said was included. Now i assume Mike forgot about my order for two weeks and the day i called Naples to check the status, a person other then Mike packaged the box and didn't fill my order completely. But i will be contacting naples monday and hopefully will be able to clear this up.

I don't know what else to say about the rest of Naples acura after Asspenny's incidents there recently...*ahem* white paint on his black ITR *ahem*

 

I dont think the flywheel or those bolts you mentioned are included in a clutch pack. And its tranny fluid, not brake fluid that comes with it. Might wanna ask Mike K himself though....

 

I have never dealt with Mike, but have heard stories of him going out of his way to take care of a customer. And I do mean, take care j/k

Mike K is a great resource both for this forum and for us on a parts level. I suggest you try calling him monday. I am sure a simple phone call will straighten out your quandry.

 

I personally know Mike K and have bought many parts from him and I always have had excellent service.

 

your right, it is 2 quarts of tranny fluid, not 2 bottles of brake fluid. My mistake, but those were not in the package either way.

But about the clutch pack, there are six items listed under the clutch pack on the website. I request quote for clutch pack. I phone in order for clutch pack. But I don't get what i thought i was ordering (clutch pack and bearings).

From what i have read about Mike K, he's been a great resource to the board and it's members. Thats why i bought from typerparts.com. I will be calling Mike K monday, and hopefully we will be able to clear this up.

 

ive bought probably 50 items from mike k. He's pretty good about stuff. Only one or two little problems.

 

Mike K is very standup. Naples acura and himself in particular are always very busy though.

 

Mike K is a great guy, he'll usually do whatever he can to fix your problems. I did the typerparts.com site so I know it's legit, hopefully one day the time and money will be invested to put the whole R catalog up, but right now mike and myself are way to busy to tackle a project of this nature. The current site does a decent job of limiting the number of calls the guys in naples get and also gives for a nice parts number reference for those who choose to buy parts from their local acura dealer.

 

the guy is a tool, mike K is a Homo, and I am sick of his ****. I say we all get together and kick is hairy russian ***.

he wouldnt go to the Silver Beaver with us Friday night, said he was tired what a Ponuche
