this is one of my first welds my uncle builds iron railings and fences and showed me what to do on a railing we were makin and said now finish it and left lol he came back and said it was pretty good so i wanna see what you guys think i was using a miller i think a 210 real nice

thanks alot man i thought it was pretty good for one of my first im gonna be getting alot of practice because i work for my uncle i usually fix up apartments for him but he wants me to start working in his shop so im gonna be welding all day everyday but i love it already its alot more fun than replacing tubs,sinks, and floors,etc

 

the weld looks similar to some of my early welds where I was moving too fast, and not melting into the base metal. You might want to try slowing it down a bit, and pausing at the upper and lower spots of the bead as you move along.

 

yea i was welding all day after this i learned to slow down i was goin way to fast and i wasnt hesitating to get a nice puddle
