98 USDM ITR Corner Weight

Default 98 USDM ITR Corner Weight

Today, I put my ITR on the four-wheel scales at my friend's shop. I was curious how well it was balanced with the Mugen Lowdown suspension. The setup is a 98 USDM ITR with full interior, Mugen Lowdowns and a half tank of gas. The car was very well balanced compared to other "stock" cars that I have seen on the four-wheel scales. Without me in the car, the car weighed 2,567-lb, Front Left - 801-lb, Front Right - 804-lb, Rear Left - 493-lb, Rear Right - 469-lb. I weigh about 205-lb. With me in the drivers seat the car weighs 2773-lb, Front Left - 871-lb, Front Right - 835-lb, Rear Left - 574-lb, Rear Right - 493-lb. I just thought this information might interest you guys.

Not bad, only off by about 45 lbs if I did my math right? With 400 in-lb springs, you are only off by a tenth of an inch on one corner.

What pressure were your tires? All even?

My tire pressure was 35 psi all the way around. I am pleased with the results especially since I can't adjust the Mugen Lowdown suspension.
