cleaning lenses of headlight? diy
is there a way to polish up the insides of the headlights
there was a thread on how to clean up the scuffs on the inside lenses i believe with the eagle 1 polish. anyone have that link?
edit: i found the link to clearing scratches
also how do u take apart a headlights off an ej8 em1 etc. the cover from the housing. im afraid the plastic housing will break

Just curious how you got scratches on the inside of the headlight lens cuz theyre sealed. As far as taking them apart.... just preheat an oven to 200 degrees, throw em in for 10 minutes and pull them apart. then there are two screws inside that connect the part that is chrome. Take those out and you should have 3 pieces (lens, housing, and the chrome piece). Do the same thing to put them back together but in reverse order.
As far as scratches, theyre probably on the outside. If theyre deep youre gonna have to work on wet sanding til theyre gone. Then get some Meguires Plastic X and clean them. Then put a nice coat of wax on em and your good to go.
