JDM red integra on Super Street?
Did anyone see the JDM red integra on Super Street? What kind of exhaust did it have?
Thank you
Thank you
A question about that car.... why in the hell would you go through all that trouble of converting a GSR to Type R? It's not like the R's are that hard to find and I bet it would have been cheaper to just tear the car down and paint it Milano Red if that was his goal. Just doesn't make much sense to me.

Since it's a '95 he saved some cash there. He also works at his dad's body shop, so labor costs are minimal. He's also down w/ Sheng from JDMHondaparts, so he's got a part hookup.
Considering that there's so much aftermarket stuff on there, why pay the high price of an R just to ditch a vast amount of the parts when he could theoretically find a rough GS-R for cheap and completely redo it himself for low dough???

he wouldn't have to pay the higher insurace rate of real "Type R"
the car is most likely already payed off--so the money he COULD have spent on monthly car payments for a new r go to mods for his gsr

Thanks Reid! Anyone notice the rear panels missing. I wonder what it looks like back there? I also like how there isn't an antenna or the rear wiper. very clean

If your in the business converting a GSR to LS isn't THAT bad (aside from the body shop bill) but lets look at it this way, a friend of mine picked up a wrecked r for 3900 (every body panel trashed everything else was decent). You can pickup a pos LS or RS nowadays for about 5-6k or less. Or even theft recovery GSR or LS, bout 2-3k in body work, a few days labor and you have a "r" clone but it will be very similar and you can probably fool even R owners with it.
I heard he took out the rear seat and rear panels. He probably has the whole rear area stripped. Does anyone know how much all that weighs?
Reid - who regrets that a Neon smashed into the door of his 90 RS, prompting it's sale
this is the first time ive seen some postive replys posted regarding people who add r parts to there gsr's. sad it took a magazine to promote it all

Thanks Reid! I always wondered if it made a difference in 1/4 times to have the rear stripped.
Why?
Because people walking by my car look in it and see there's nothing to take.
Did you hear me? THERE'S NOTHING TO TAKE!!!
I haven't seen it but as long as he doens't call it an R.........
I don't care what you do a GSR will never be a Type-R and thats that.

All i have to say is Lee's GSR is one nice integra, regardless of whether it's a type r or not. Who cares? I don't.
Ricers are ricers. Some just have more money than others.
