ZC questions
What is the ideal computer to use with a stock zc swap? and what is the stock redline on a DOHC ZC motor? the reason i ask is bcuz i have a DOHC ZC running off of a chipped p75 and i wanted to know what my redline should be before i start running..
It's the pm7. Redline is 7500. Since you have a chipped ECU, they have maps and all on the turboedit website that you can find. http://www.turboedit.org

There's no reason to go that high in the first place,,they dont even make power that high..dohc zc redline is 7200rpm and fuel cut is alittle bit higher..I suggest you get some sort of limiter,,imagine mis-shifting and going past 8000rpm on a stock dohc zc,,

The engine fuel cut is at 7800rpm I beleive. Honda rates the maximum limit at 7200rpm.
We had a DOHC ZC to 8700rpm...it didn't like it. Didn't make any power up higher then 75-7800rpm and it blew the expletive up a few weeks later, spun a bearing.
It's an old worn out motor, be gental.
