trailer? (800 bucks or so?)
beaters that i would want:
EF with maybe b16a?
Early 90s Chevy Caprice 9C1 (lt1 engine, cop car)
Early Jeep Grand Cherokee

pay for my plane ticket, and ill drive it, I think a cross country journy in a Type R in spring, would be one of the most enjoyable times of my life,
whats up man,
my step dad works for a company that ships cars professionally. The name is intercity lines inc.
they are one of the best, if not the best in the industry. Im not goign to quote any prices but their service is great. Excellent drivers.
the phone number is
1 800 221 3936

Well, I already did the North-South and back trip, I would also be extremely interested in a West-East journey or vice versa.
I'll co-pilot Mike.

If you're crossing through southern IN, I can put you up for a night. I have a friend that goes to BC, and his brother's at school here with me @ IU.
DO NOT keep a Type R in Boston. You can live with a beater through your college years. Don't even get a nice beater. Boston living takes its toll on a car. An R would get stolen or vandalized WAY too fast.
Be smart about this. Leave the R in CA.

I beg to differ. BC/ Chestnut Hill is relatively safe. It's not like it's on the edge of Roxbury like NE is. As long as you are careful where you drive and park, it will be fine. You just need to get an alarm PROPERLY installed by a reputable shop. The chances of the car getting stolen in Boston is the same as in CA. If **** happens, it happens. Bring up your SSB GSR. Forget the beater.

That's not to speak of the insurance, which is the primary reason why my friend didn't bring his DSM with him to BC. Although, I still don't know why he would have to have it registered in MA. College kids come and go all the time without having to re-register. But, even if you didn't have to re-register, the risk for accidents or body damage are gonna be higher b/c the density is far more sardine-like in Boston. Hurry up and graduate so you can get the hell outta Dodge! Then, bribe your parents into spending that last year's tuition on something you want.
I just noticed that I'm a semi-dumbass. I was busy jumping to conclusions that you had an R while ignoring your screenname as well.
That said, I checked out your site, and I wouldn't park that car anywhere in the Boston metro area. dc24me, I wouldn't park your car there either!!! I guess that's just my paranoia speaking--as well as the fact that on the Northeast board of ClubSi, cars get jacked from the Boston area way too regularly.
Beater!
