i currently own a 2002 rsx type-s but am looking into getting an s2k. now i really dont know much about them except ive heard its hard to make power w/ them. i test drove an 01 yesterday and i liked it. a little harder to drive than the rsx but still nice. my question is what are the pros/con of the s2k and which years are the fastest? i know the older ones rev higher and i like that but are they slower than the newer ones? is the only way to make any real power to go f/i, or what # do basic bolt ons make? how hard is it to reach low 13's?

My advice would be to find another car whose engine would be easier and more economical to make power with than the S2K.

 

low 13's is not hard to reach at all. i only have an intake and 4.77 FD, ran a 13.3 with a 1.96 60ft. that 60ft could be brought down to 1.8 and would put me at 13.0-1
