My distributor is going out, once you hear the noises about how long will it last? Will a new civic si(b16) distributor fit on a gsr? I got a friend who works at honda who could probably get it for me.

I got a loud noise comming from under my valve cover, at first i was told the valves needed to be adjusted. Then from a second opinion i was told the "valve latch" is going out. It wont affect performance if i leave it, i'll just have to deal with the noise. Anyone have any idea what this noise could be??? I really dont want to pay acura to find out. Since that $$ could be going towards fixing the problem. Anything on this would be greatly appreciated!!!

Anybody??? Will a b16 distributor work on my gsr???

 

I know the caps are not interchangeable, but that's not saying a lot about the distributor assembly as a whole tho.
