Is it 10s on the track you are looking for? If so, shouldnt you be running on competiton tires, or drag slicks? 18" yokos on volks wont help you get the power down as much as smaller wheels and competition tires like these .

Alright you want tens, here you go:

1) Larger turbo- T3/T67, GT35R, SC61 etc
2) More fuel- Aeromotive FPR, Return Line, 1000cc Precision Injectors w/ resistor box
3) Stronger Clutch- Exedy Twin Disc
4) Good tune- On C16 Race Gas
5) SLICKS- M+H makes a nice set for 15" wheels.
6) Ditch the SAFC and get K-Pro- Trust Me!!!!

Other than that your good, maybe a little weight reduction. With mid 500's you should be able to hit tens. Wow, sounds like my setup.

Get smaller wheels and tires better suited for drag. Try some simple weigh reduction like rear seat, spare stire, etc, if you havnt done so already.

Im gonna say the same thing everyone else has...

Smaller rims w/ slicks. Bigger turbo and injectors...

Weight reduction will help alot. Try using CF parts...Hood, bumpers, fenders if you can afford it. Ditch the sub/amp too.

And please lose the neons in the trunk.

Oh yeah, and how the hell is that Type R lsd holding up? I have seen people shatter those things at 215hp and slicks.

I would definately invest in a Quaife LSD unless you want to be picking parts of your tranny up off the track.

10's are NOT easy. first of all, you're going to have to put down a lot more power and you're going to need traction.

get rid of that FMU and get a standalone system.

Bigger Turbo
K Pro
Injectors (650 - LOL)
Manifold
Lose Weight

To hit 10s, you need lots of HP. To use that HP, you have to be able to put it to the ground. Have you run the as it sits?
Oh, and you will need more than a couple of thousand...

Sell all that stereo crap and the parts you'll be upgrading (yes, sell the wheels, too) and you'll have a little more than a couple thou$and to work with.

When you're talking ten-sec 1/4's, you pretty much either have to build the whole car for speed. No extra bullshit. If something doesn't contribute to going faster, take it out of the car.

K-pro, bigger turbo, quaife, axels, slicks, a real tune, bigger IC, bigger charge pipes, bigger injectors, more fuel, twin disc clutch, 5 speed (6 to much for 10's w/turbo). Well that's what I did after I got rid of all the crappy CN turbo stuff. I'll finish the build soon and will keep fingers crossed for 10's. Good luck

Really you would swap for the 5spd?

Will it hold the power just as well?

Its gonna take more than just that. Everyone above pretty much said the same things. Its going to cost far more than a few thousand, too.

dont do a CN kit, go to http://www.full-race.com they are alot better. then build it and use a k-pro and where do you plan on taking the car for install and tune? i hope that when you are talking about stoney you arent talking about velocity i have heard some baaaad things about them, you are much better taking it to jo-tech.

everything I get we install in the driveway, thats how it's always been. Look, I know that you either have your gutted out 10 second race car or your neoned out local wanna be local car show entry, it's just that this is going to be my daily driver and I don't want to give up the interior and system and 18's but I'm also tired of getting smoked by camaros and mustangs at the local run what ya brung nights. I just want to get as close to tens as possible with out striping my car down.

Ten second daily driver?!?

Which planet did you say you were from again?

If you think you have to have a 10 second car to beat 'stangs or camaro's, you are saaaadly mistaken.

I would hate for you to have to get smaller rims and lose those super tyte n30nz, homeb0i.
