Default Spring and Shocks for 02 Accord Coupe? Exhaust Question Also

Hi,

I have been flip-flopping over doing some suspension alterations to my ride. I've got an 02 Accord Coupe with 18" wheels. I measured the fender gap on the front wheel today, and it measured exactly 4" from the top of the tire to the fender.

This seems like a bit much in my opinion - what do you guys think? If I am going to do a drop, what do you think I should do? How much of a drop do I need, and if I get lowering springs, do I also need to get different shocks, too?

Also, I have been thinking of getting an exhaust put on. The local exhaust place can do one at cost for me - like 150 bucks, but it's not stainless steel or mandrel bent. Is that really a big deal, or it it worth paying 3X as much? Should I go with the local shop?

Thanks in advance!

John
