Default HELP check engine

Hi I have just done a 1999 d16y8 swap in my 1990 winter beater and I have some check engine but when I try to bypass my to wires (grn/org+brwn) on my comp obd2 SI 1999 The check engine flash so fast that I don't have the time to count them !!! PLEASE help

Well I am not sur about what you don't understand but I'l reexplain it ! Ok so first of all my car is a 1990 civic HB I have a 1999 d16y8 engine with the obd2 computer !! The problem is that The check engine ligth is on and when I try to get my check engine to flash by shorting my 2 wires on the computer ! my check engine start to flash but not the way it should !!! It flashes to fast I almost cant see it flash !!! does anyone know what is that all about!

the only way to check codes on OBD2 ECU is with OBD2 code scanner - the codes are alpha-numeric, like P1259, and can't be read from the flashing CEL like on OBD1

Take it to the Honda Dealership and have them plug their scanner in.

Well there is no way to plug a scanner cause a don't have the obd2 plug under my dash !
