clock problem
heres my perdiciment: my clock would only work when i pushed the reset button in the corner. so i did a search and found that the clock i had was crap and i had to buy a new one. so i did just that. it arrived, i installed it, nothing. so did i buy a bad clock or is there something else wrong?

Sometimes. When it does work its very dim. Also my old clock would just turn on and start working at random times.

Have you tried adjusting the dimmer switch for your instrument cluster?
Also, do you have anything else tied to the dim wires in your car?
Stereo wired incorrectly, aftermarket gauges?

I do have aftermarket gauges and i dont have a stereo.
When i press any button on the clock the numbers get brighter. There are also some red lines behind the numbers.
