I was wondering how to remove the console on a 2006 rsx, so that I could switch the shift ****. Thanks

 

Don't need to remove the console to change the shiftknob.

Just pull on the collar that connects the leather boot to the ****. Pull down hard and it will unclip. Then unscrew the shift **** to the left, its threaded on there. Thats it.

 

Yeah but if you want to keep the boot held are going to have to remove the center console to get it held up. Open up the cup holders and pull up on the lip and there are 6 clips that need to come up.

If you need a method for holding it up there is one on Clubrsx with rubber grommets. It works really well
