Default cracking noise from the back?

hey guys i have a question
im dropped on coilovers and ive been hearing a weird CRACKING/PLASTIC RUBBING noise from the rear. im thinking it could be that plastic black cover that go over the shocks to prevent it from getting dirty since i just crushed it so it wouldnt fit.

the rear is half a finger lower than the front since i raised the front a little. any ideas? thanks

Most coilovers aren't compatible with dust boots.

Probably, especially if you had to crunch it up to get it to fit. I don't know if it's dangerous per-se, but I would get it taken care of.
