I spoke with my local NHRA chassis cert guy, and he tells me that although the 5th seat mount point is required (on the back of the seat to the crossbar in the main hoop), it can be "adjustable". He mentioned that he's seen a lot of the old muscle car guy use a telescoping setup. Has anyone seen/farbicated anything like this? Or perhaps there's a weld-up kit available?
