Default new nrg slim hub !

i thought some of you guys might want to see the new nrg slim hub. i got it cause my momo hub put the steering wheel too close to me when coupled with the nrg quick release.

imo....it looks a lot better....and the steering wheel is just about in the stock position.

That's good looking and all, but I've always had a problem with the no-airbag thing

well since the hub is held on with a 19mm nut, there is no play or wiggle.

if you're referring to the nrg quick release, there is no play or wiggle there either.

as for the looks, is there a point to a hub? i'm not flaming and dont intend to get flamed, im serious. here's some reasons why i think someone would get one. what other reasons are there?

after market steering wheel (obviously)
saftey (removable)
change size of your steering wheel (comfort)

thanks guys.

the point of the slim hub is to allow aftermarket wheels w/ quick release hubs to mount closer to the stock position.
Normally they mount an extra 3-4" out depending on the hub.

I just talked to a bunch of people at the JDMHONDAPARTS moving sale this morning who currently have the NRG Quick Release but want the FET or something different because there is a lot of wiggle or play.

Any pics of the slim hub with the steering wheel attached, for comparison?

I've had mine since they were first released and it doesn't wiggle at all, it feels as solid as the factory steering wheel.
