So I ripped my hubs/uprights off the other night so I can take them to the dealer and have them press in some new bearings and ball joints. I already have the new parts so I figure they would charge me about an hour to an hour and a half labor... WRONG.

I'm going to take it to Delray Beach Acura tomorrow morning to see if they'll do it any cheaper, if not, I need to find somone local that has a press or even if anybody knows of a local shop I can take it to, that would be great.

Just go talk to a "earls car repair" and see if he'll do it for cheap or even let you do it. expletive acura, its a simple process, I cant believe they would charge that much, you did all of the work.

Delray Acura sucks I wouldn't be suprised if they give you a ridiculous quote either. JD's auto repair, boca raton blvd, 1 block north of 20th street on the corner, he could probably do it.

been there, done that... Not alot of fun doing a final drive that way.. I'd hate to see what a bitch it is with the hubs.

 

I'm in search of the same with no luck so far. Harbour frieght has presses for pretty cheap, but I'd rather not buy one yet as I have no place to keep it.
