Default d16a6 mini-me swap

Ok first off im brand new to this site, my name is travis and i own a '90 civic sedan ex. i recently had the motor and tranny replaced with a sohc zc. its my daily driver and i love it to death, anyways ive been thinking alot about doin a mini-me swap on it, the only thing that im concerned about is the reliability of the swap, so my question is does any body have this done to their car, and is it reliable, and finally how hard is it to wire up. if anybody has any links or write ups please let me know. also which head is the best to use? I have access to a '98 d16y8 with low mileage. thanx

reliability depend on u if u take care of it or not, a y8 head would work very well i also hav the same swap that u hav but the mini me that i am doing is diff. ima using a z6 head, y8 intake manifold, and a zex cam, and cam gear, but thats just me, and its not hard to wire up. there is a hole that is plugged behind the block that is where ur oil line for the vtec will go, u will hav to get a vtec ecu, i forgot what else but i can get back to u with more info, just let me know.

Use your stock dizzy on the y8 head to keep it obdo..And if it were me I would get that ecu you have chipped with d16y8 fuel/timing maps and run the turboedit one wire vtec..You've got a 90 ecu so its external eprom which is good for chipping..

Check out xenocron.com for info on turboedit..
