Hi,

I got a Milano Red Integra Type-R last weekend and I love it!

I really don't know a great deal about cars and I'm slightly worried about something.

Mostly it all works fine but sometimes I seem to be losing power, and the car seems to almost stall. Normally I can feel the car being pulled forward whilst driving but then it falls back and keeps stuttering like that. It happens in any gear.

Example: I was driving around 80mph in 5th gear on the dual carriage-way but there was traffic ahead so I had to slow to 60mph - this caused the problem to occur.

It really shouldn't happen. Does anyone know what might cause a problem like that?

Downshifting maybe needs to be done....


Otherwise, low rpms in a higher gear will respond slower.

Yeah but it's like the car is kangaroo-ing - even if I keep at a steady speed. Shouldn't happen.

I have no idea - but I have one! It's a UK car, first registered in 2000.
