Default EL GAUGE conversion question.

i have a 92si 4ws. i'm lookin to get EL gauges. however i know 4ws's last production year was the 94. i also know that the EL gauges started in 94 si's or was it only vtec's??..... question is.. do they make a EL gauge with the 4ws light in the cluster??? because i want to change my analog gauge to digital but i also wanted to know if they even made EL gauges for the 4ws in 94. could anyone plz help me out. so if i'm lucky i could get the proper gauges.

ive never seen one but it makes sense that there would be a few out there.

however, its a pain in the *** to find an EL cluster anyways, and im sure your chances of finding one with a 4ws light is very slim.

i have 4ws too and i just bought a regular EL cluster. the way i see it is, when the 4ws breaks i wont have an annoying light glaring me in the face (like i do now with my current cluster lol)

i'm sure you could rig up something to let you know when 4ws is acting up.

Just take the stock sensor for 4ws and wire a LED into it or something. It would light up if their was a problem just like teh stock one. It wouldnt be difficult.

BB4 chassis JDM is without 4ws ( I think). Well all the EL clusters for BB4 i seen dont have 4ws light, so thats what I assume. I got 94JDM lude which is BB1, needed replacement EL cluster, which just by luck I found. So they are out there... you need the cluster for JDM BB1. if you are fixed on using a stock 4ws light that is.

It exists here in Europe, but is very hard to find... it's up to 240 km/h

But even a USDM version has the place for a bulb that is not installed. The 4WS elipse on cluster is painted black. So you can install the bulb (same as for SRS light) then the simplest and fastest idea is to drill a small hole in place where the 4WS elipse is supposed to be. You will see a light in such way. You can even put an orange film from inside or paint the bulb to orange
