The N1 exhaust slant at an angled because you see them commonly on RWD (FR) Cars. Exhaust piping on FR cars goes under the rear subframe/ LCA. Which makes the piping as straight as possible from the turbo piping. FWD (FF) copies this style and try to front it. They try so hard as to making the tiny piping bends in so many ways just to acomplised this angle. Which cancel out the whole reason for this angle. Function over fashion buddy.

N1 is the style of the muffler, like the straight through design with the round canister and big tip.
But yes most N1 type of exhaust mounted like above, angled.

to install an exhaust? if you have any basic knowledge of cars, installing an exhaust shoul take you no longer than 30mins. what took me a long time was all the drinking of beers that was invovled

depending on your exhaust size...get a piping that angles 45 degrees...it should almost be the same....
