Code 43 Flashing today ???
Yes, thats what it reads, but it is the o2 sensor. The sensor tells the ECU if the fuel conditions are optimal, if not it will throw a code.

did your car bog at all after warmed up?
no never. the light would just come on randomly. for a while it used to come on about 3-4 min after start up. i would turn the car off and restart it while driving and it wouldnt reappear till the next day. that went on for about 3 months.
then it just stopped doing it everyday. it would come on once or twice a month. finally i changed my o2 sensor and ive never seen it since.
my setup is -
jdm b18c
walbro 190 pump
rc 440 injectors
pr3 ecu with hondata s200.

I had teh same exact problem, in fact i still have it as of today. I thought it was just because my car is turbo'd and hasn't been tuned since that code is reading for what? to lean or rich right? Cuz my air/fuel ratio says its running lean as hell after it warms up. So I should just change my o2 sensor or try getting it tuned?
rich as in what fuel ?? i am running 87 octane too bad ?? well i have to cuz gay is WAYY TO HIGH 2.40 for 87 2.50 for 89 2.6(something) 91
I just reset my ecu today and my code 43 is gone, and my code 8 is gone... I drove around for an hour and no codes came up... Very weird.. I will keep it updated if it comes back or not.

Yes because when your car is cold your ecu is running in open loop mode so its just going based off of fuel maps in the ecu and not getting any information from the o2 sensor. Once the car is warmed up and at partial throttle the ecu runs in closed loop mode so it gathers information from the o2 sensor and adjusts the fuel from there. So if your o2 sensor was bad it wouldn't be giving the ecu the proper reading...
Example: the o2 sensor could be reading lean so the ecu thinks that the car is running lean and will therefore richen the A/F ratio when it really doesn't need to be. or vice versa

From: 99 probs but a stolen car aint 1, ca, cerritos/fullerton
I had the same prob with my da, I put in a new o2 and the prob went away. now its back it comes on when every I get into it hard. I think it might have somethig to do with the header leak, but my fuel pump has 140k on it. the motor is a 98 ls. hum
