Default an-r header

Is the an-r h series header only made for 4th gen prelude? Is there a way to put it on a 5th gen?

you can certainly put it in a 5th gen, but most likely, just like in the 4th, you will have to notch the crossmember...

I Asked this question before but the thread kind of got sidtracked...If i put this header on will i see more gains then having like a dc sport header because my engine is not built? One more question is do you think it is safe to get new cams injectors ect with this car being my daily driver? One more thing..on the website it says it wont clear the factory a/c condensor...how do you solve that problem without taking the a/c out?

it says it wont clear the condensor for a 5th gen prelude?? if so, youre SOL....you cant do anything about that

you will be fine daily driving with cams and injectors

yes this header will make more power than the dc...by far...

Actually it says that about the Swap in 92+ Civic and 94+ Accord chassis. On their website they dont even say it fits a 5th gen lude.

How will it not clear the condenser?.......

Isn't that in FRONT of the radiator?.......

or do you mean it won't clear the radiator?..........or maybe the AC lines?........

or did you mean compressor some how?.........

How are the 5th gen ludes setup? - is the condenser in back of the radiator?

But do you know if the condenser is in front of the radiator? I'm trying to figure out how the hell a header couldn't clear the condenser?......Thats fucked up......someone with a 5th gen please confirm the location of the condenser.

One more thing is i read you have to grind the crossmember and i think mgags just mentioned that too...i also read that its real expensive to do that. How expensive is it?...does it really pay then to get this header?

Grind the crossmember yourself. Then it won't be expensive. Just take your time.

Id suggest buying a header that was made for the car. Get a nice custom made peice or RMF or dont bother.
