Just a quick question about the wait time. Are you folks already ordering the wheels, or do you have to wait till all the 100pcs are spoken for till you start the order?

We have placed the order already and have received quite a few deposits already. Just so everyone knows, we really didnt order that many black sets so get them while you can!

OK cool, so why do you need a deposit if they are already on the way? Do you expect them to be all sold, so a deposit will reserve yourself a set? I mean, people who paid half now and have to wait, but what about when the order arrives and there are extra sets. Then someone can just pay the full amount then.... right or wrong? Also the order wasnt split 50 black, 50 bronze? How much of each?
We are taking deposits for those that want the wheels and guaranteed a set
We didnt split it 50/50 for the colors since bronze will most likely be more popular

when and with who ?
The reason I ask is I spoke to friends at both Mackin (the sole allowed importer) and rays wheels in japan who assures me they would not knowingly sell inside the US without going through Mackin
4 different people confirmed that NO order has been officially placed.
And if I did my yen to dollar conversion right it would take more than 60K in pre paid orders to get a run made. And even then it would likely be at least 6 months before a set ever reached the US as it takes an average of 90 days just to recieve in stock wheels shipped here.

Who are you?? Where do you get your information from?
We have in fact already put the order through for the wheels. Who and where it comes from is our concern and that customers get what they ordered. If everyone gave out there information on where they get there products from, do you think that's ethically correct?

WRONG it's everyone who you've collected deposits from, everyone who was interested in this deal, all the people who trust this business to this board and everyone who's worked so hard to bring volk wheels to the US way before you.
Why I am is an interested party. I called you guys to buy 20 wheels and got such a shady answer called rays dirrectly. When they said they were unaware of such order I called Mackin. When they claimed no order was placed I called 2 other sources that know far more people than I do and no one could find any such order. I've already gotten several IM's from other sources on this board claiming they too knew no such order has been placed.
Ethically correct - LOL Mackin is the sole importer of wheels to the US. As much as I hate there customer service especially in aquiring any wheel they don't have instock they are the only legitamate game in town.
Which means your grey marketing wheels using Honda-Tech's members to do it or your buying fakes. Either way it seems the only unethical party here seems to be you

#1 We have never gotten a phone call regarding 20 pcs of these wheels
#2 I dont know who you think you are calling us out and accusing us of grey marketing this wheel when it is totally impossible like you said for Rays Engineering in Japan to sell to the US without going solely through the US importer Mackin Industries.
#3 You have no idea what is going on or have any clue what you maybe dealing with but when it comes down to the end, your gonna want the wheels and there is only one place in the US that has stepped up to order the 100pcs.
If you want contact information on where to see and who we got the wheels from, you can contact me, Eric, at anytime and then later on you can stick a foot in your mouth for posting on here and accusing us of false accusations.
Maybe your just a Volk distributor and mad that we can get the wheels and you cant
I mean honestly, you havent come forth of who you are and where you are from and where your getting your information from.
I wonder who people are gonna take the truth from, someone that has 4 posts and a member since 01-26-06 or someone with over 5200 posts and member since 2002?

you managed to talk alot here but not say anything.
1. yes I called and asked about "multiple" orders
2. Facts are facts - I layed out mine on the table - your still dancing around
3. It's quite obvious whats going on your either A: hyping up enough people with talk about "placing" orders to get the money you need B: lying through your teeth, who knows maybe it's your time to bail - maybe a nice change of living in like Taiwan - 60K in american currency will go pretty far there. Or trying to dance around going through a "legitimate" source by standing on your post count.
Oh I think this says it all - you posted this after I questioned the "legitimacy" of this sale.
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Hybrid-Performance.com »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Hi All,

<FONT SIZE="4"> Volk has just informed us of a pricing increase on the wheels. Previous quotes on the wheels are no longer valid. Please wait for further pricing information.Sorry for the inconveinence. </FONT></TD></TR></TABLE>
Your obviously not bright enough to realize this but Rays the parent company of Volk is huge, the material needed for 100 wheels is not only "in stock" for them but is actually only a very very very small percentage of what they have.
Now if they already have the material - you've already placed your order - and they are an honorable company which means they would not change a contract after recieving the deposit - then there can only be one conclusion - your lying
As far as getting the wheels I needed - I've decided to purchase locally either through Kodiak or Keizer both of which make 13x8's in a weight slightly less than volk. Hell even weld has a 13x8 only 6 pounds.

Ok im tired of going back and forth with someone that wont release where they are getting there information someone. Pretending that you know it all has nothing to do with this and wasting our post space with your accusations is getting out of hand.
If you know this market really well, all japanese manufactures changes there pricing quite frequently due to the yen and USD fluctuation. This is by no means in our control and and just relay the message as we get it.
Your accusations of us "lying" about this has no affect on us or our sales on this wheel because we are a known company have provided much to the HT community and a few moderators as well and very very very reputable.
Why dont you give me your name and number and we can discuss where you think our false accusations sit? Id be more than happy to discuss with this you
There is no said "contract" that is needed to place an order for the wheels. Simply a purchase order was required to have the order set.
Im glad you found another wheel you went with and hope your happy with it.
Anyone have any other questions or concerns regarding this please feel free to contact us at anytime.

How many times do I have to post my information comes "dirrectly" from both Rays and Mackin. Stop trying to dance around by calling me vague. I can hardly get any more clear.
And your not making sales off this wheel - you already said the old quotes were no good.
Yes pricing does change the cost of materials goes up and down and the value of the dollar except in 2 cases A: they already have more than enough material and B: Rays or Mackin don't take "orders" of custom wheels without a significant deposit down. In which case the price of the final product has been set and there are signatures on both sides - a "contract" I know this for a fact - your not the first company to do a custom order from them and even wheels they aleady make but Mackin doesn't carry require a minimum 50% deposit before Mackin will even place the order.
I'm not happy to have to go elsewhere quite the opposite, The wheels I have to buy instead are the same cost but with no warranty.
What I will be happy with is either you stop trying to post the same song and dance about how long you've been here and either produce proof that the wheels have been ordered or ask a moderator to move this to the brown hole.

I have been patient with you and your false accusations and if your a dealer that is bitter towards us for some reason, I apologize but I no longer have the patience to deal with all your false accusations.
