ey wassup guys i have a 89 crx HF and it has the 90 1.6L in it and when i drive it the ****** temperature guage doesnt seem to want to move. so i was wondering if its a wire or a hose thats suppose to make that shiet move. if anyone can help me please do thanks!

 

The sensor for your temperature gauge is on the distributor side of the head. It's actually right under the distributor, it looks like the oil pressure sensor on the back of the block, kind of like a mini stereo plug. Check the wiring, or it probably just got unplugged.

 

also to c if its the gage thats not working just ground out the one wire, that goes to the sensor, to the block and it should read full scale or hot. mike
