How to bring down the Dealership? Honda S2000 2006 Laguna Blue
So far, the dealer gave me a quote of 31,483 with tax its the same as msrp! What can I do to get this price down? Im sure they buy them for so cheap, anyone have an idea? Thanks!
I know this is a good one, im seeing what I am going to get from winter honda. Through their internet fleet.
That's a pretty good price right now for the 06's. $3K off MSRP. Invoice raised up to a little bit over $30K for the 06's.
they wont go lower than that.... for an 06 thats a steal... a place would have to be hurting for a sale to go lower and with the new civics kicking *** i highly doubt there goin to go lower.. buy it

Get a loan from your bank before hand for the amount you want to pay. Dealers will be more willing to cut a deal if they can have full payment for a car.

I'm going to have to call BS on that one. The dealership has $30311.99 invested in the car. Invoice on an '06 is $31333.49 and hold-back is $1021.50. No dealership would be desperate enough to lose $2000 in January when they know they will sell it close to MSRP($34050.00) in May or June.
Actually, Please PM me the name of that dealership. Mine would like to purchase every S2k they currently have on hand and in transit.

Try http://www.hardtopguy.com. They sell S2K's for $500 over invoice. They are located in Ohio and will ship cars. I inquired about 04's and 05's a few months back. I could get a leftover 04' with ~72 miles for $27,500. Good price.
That was before I realized that I was forced to sell mine.

i just bought my s2 OTD for 29226...buying a car soly depends on location, state, and smog laws. My first one i bought it 05 i bought in cali..i payed 38 for it after taxes only because it had more emission things on it. I lost my 05 in hurricane katrina..R.I.P..but here in mississippi things are lower here. So shop other states..u know the s2 is worth the drive...good shopping!
The dealer that I work for put a $3000 (additional market value mark up) A.K.A were greedy) mark up on the 06 lsb not sure about the other colors tho?also did it on all the new SI's................................

what if your job asked you to take a pay cut. or after you got your degree in whatever the best you could get was minimum wage. its cool right because were homies like that. next time you go in for a job interveiw maybe the guy hiring you will tell you to hook it up bro and work for half the going rate.
Position availible: must have college degree, preferably masters, and 10 years working experience. must be able too work long hours. suit and tie required and advanced areospace technology experience a +. starting salary 5.00/hour. please call 1-800-hook-it-up-dog</TD></TR></TABLE>
Its not going to be 45k by the end of it. Not even close. And thanks for the postive support.

I agree about the seats. Took out the mesh and leather looks like crap!
Still a bad *** car though.

That's a pretty good deal you are getting. I'm getting a 2006 for $31,800 here in Raleigh, NC through internet pricing.
