Cooling fan is howling... can the motor be repaired?
My main cooling fan is making a horrendous noise... it still blows, but the noise is like a Yeti in heat with a deviant septum.
The parts listing on the little fan motor is around $170!!!
Does anyone know about servicing these things?

look into gettin a slim fan for that doe...
or head to the junk yard...I have never seen a fan go bad in my time...my orginal DX has well over 250,000 miles with the OE fan...

I wish I could just get a lighter slim fan, but my autox rules require oem or oem-spec parts... I guess the junk yard is my best bet.

If your radiator says "Toyo" on it, and it is the fan that is on the passenger's side of the radiator I'll definitely pay you for it...possibly overnighted to me (I have to race on Sunday!) I'll PM you my cell #
