Default Another Intake question...

ok im about to install my Skunk 2 Pro Series Intake Manafold on my GS-R. I need to buy a new Intake. I Dont have anything CF on my car because it doesn't go well.
I definatly want it LOUD! since my exhaust is quiet, but I want the best for my cars performance.
I have a B18C1 block bored over .25 for my OS ITR pistons. Skunk 2 IM, 4-1 Header, 2.25 Catback, ARP Headstuds and bearings, head is stock for now.

Pics are also appreciated. espically of the ARC.

Thanks for your help.

Pretty much all SRI are very loud...even the stock intake arm with the lid off is loud.

I would either get a ebay pipe with a K&N filter or get the whale *****.

performance wise, i'd look into the comptech ice box system. BUT, if your looking for something loud, then get the whale ***** or the aem cai. Just know you can always cut the aem cai piping and convert it into a sri during the winter/rainy season.

I think the next thiing you should look into is cams!

size of the intake pipe also has an effect on performance....

and.....how does that pertain to my response? Thats why I mentioned/recommended the three different options when it comes to intake systems.

If you were to choose between the password carbon fiber whale ***** or the iceman cai, i'd go with the whale *****. Check out their website....it seems like a very well made/constructed intake even though its a replica of the J's racing one.
