k i put in a stereo in my car today and when i went to start it my car would start and run for a split second and then cut off. so i took out the stereo and put everything back to the way it was and its still doin this. any idea why?

it kinda sounds like its not getting enough gas or something

 

got to be a coincidence(hooked on phonics...sorry) when you give it gas what happens? maybe an injector went bad?!
has anyone worked on the car lately?

 

a couple weeks ago it was in the shop. how would u check if an injector went bad?

 

when i give it gas itll rev up and when i let it idle the needle jumps between 300 and 1100
