does anyone know if i could take 4th gen SI front brakes and calipers, and ues them to replace my 4th gen vtec rear brakes and calipers?

Before I decided to do the Legend caliper upgrade, my rear driver side caliper was bad. I asked the dealership the same question. They said different part #'s. Also, something about the brake bias. Thus it wouldn't work. Who knows, maybe someone here did it w/o any problems.
