i told my self long before the R that i had to have a really fast car.. with this one i will take my time with a build up as i will own it and plan on keeping it for next 4 years + *crossed fingers*

i will probably start working on it after summer, although i already have wheels for it.. in the meanwhile.. to enjoy 02 summer i will be getting a 99 gsxr 600 and have fun.. take my time with that to learn how to ride it well and be safe as you can possible be. Honestly i'm tired of saving up my pennies during summer working 24/7.. this way i will have a very decent car thats in great shape yet kick it at work and once 4:30 hit hop on the bike and cruise till late in the evening considering how hot the summers are in cali ahh... i cant wait.. gotta save up a few more pennies before summer to make it happen hehehehe

not the aluminum bodied shocks. ie RA's. as long as you're not living in some place that rains all the time like canada or washington you shouldn't have much to worry about.

well in my opinion it should be in the classiified section but i'm really in a rush to sell this as i need cash for my new project, and i'm hoping you guys can help me sell this.. i.e. if you or you know someone that might be interested in buying them... i bought a nice used car but got rear ended by a FUGGIN delivery truck last friday so now i have to fix it and pay $500 outta my *** for deductible... such BS.. and the car was in a flawless shape.. well the body shop guy said its going to look even better then when i bought it so i guess its all good.. just sucks to go through all the hassle.. but i cant wait until i join the darkside

Ryan no need to hate dood .. **** rice street and the rest of those gay magz.. i saw this motor get built from scratch by my best friend and the results are amazing.. so far its been running strong for a 1.5yrs.. most people **** in their pants when taken for a test drive hehehe so bottom line thats my inspiration. He can also work on my car in my garage since he lives in the same building.. plus for me its time to move on to something new.

yes i'm well aware of it being a KA.. most people love to diss on KA's here is a living proof .. anyone with an SR powered s14 is more then welcome to give it a shot.

i wasnt dissing the KA that is a clean setup, i have one as well in my 97

it just sounded like someone was talking about that one being an SR.

man the KA vs SR arguement is like the arguement between what religion is better, its crazy and on my other forum its pretty bad.

is that 240 with ka-t in alaska as well since you posted it was your friend's ride? never seen that one before.

and yeah the bandwagon is now nissans with a swap i get sick of everyone saying oh im gonna sell my car and get a s13 with a sr20

oh and i have a friend with a 98 that is finishing up his "almost year long" swap...hahha yeah it took forever but he might give that ka-t a run for its money. also i have another few friends in orlando with sr20s and one with a built ka-t that ran 13.1 before it was built heheeh and now he keeps up/beats alot of supras.

Hey hybrid eg,

In the latest edition of SCC they detail a complete SR20DET swap in a S13. Go and get it because they outline everything that you'll need for the swap plus do's and dont's.

That KA24 motor is crap compared to the SR20DET especially when it's turbo'ed. You almost have to get the bottom end rebuilt! I think the SR20 is they way to go plus a Silvia clip from Japan is not super expensive.
