Default When does your vtec engage with a aftermarket manifold?

when does your vtec engage? list motor and mods... im tryin to get an idea where i should put it because with a aftermarket manifold 4400 is too soon. I've herd people sayin 4800 is good for a stock motor with a aftermarket manifold and bolt ons.

thanks

mine engages at 5600. I'm running a b16, with an AEBS manifold i/h/e, with uberdata (untuned). Red-lining at 8400.

EDIT: On my engine, anything below 5500, just makes it bog down, when VTEC engages. It engaged at 4400 on the stock ECU.

Mine engages at 5800. Type R ecu, some headwork/cams, header, stock intake, type r muffler. blah blah. 5800rpms is when it engages.

nobody can tell you where you should set yours. you need to get on a dyno and find out.

to answer ur question, 4500 rpm bogs out so raise it from 5200 to 6k
