I pulled apart my b18c because it was smoking at high rpms. I bought the motor from osaka a year ago and put about 20k on it. Everything inside looks good, practically no wear on anything, but on all the pistons the oil expander and rails on the oil ring are stuck in the ring groove. around the oil ring groove it is covered in burnt orange residue and the oil rings are caked with the same resin (burnt oil?) anyone ever see this or have any insight?
