Fill it until it comes out the fill whole when the car is level. Let it drain out until nothing comes out.

It's full. Use 10w30 oil, Honda had that stuff from factory in there. Adleast, all the ones over here.

but i need to know about how many quarts it is, i put in 2 quarts in before and it would not go into any gears and just grind, i just attached the tranny to the motor and want to make sure i had the right amount of fluid in there. the only other thing i can think of is that i might have forgot to put a throw out bearing in. please i need to know approximate amount of fluid that goes in the tranny, and would not having enough fluid cause it to grind?

it's probably about two quarts, you can always check the level by sicking your finger in and seeing how close the oil is to the top, I don't think it's going to hurt anything if you fill it all the way up.

you got some major issues man if you had no fluid in there it would still shift, your making it sound like you got an automatic them don't work unless you got the proper fluid and level in it

Holy ****!!
Did you just say you might not have remembered to put a throw out bearing in it???
Do your self a favor and take it to a dealer or have it towed to one.

Took off the tranny and saw that there was a throw out bearing in there what else could be causing this?
