Default Opinion: Buddy Club P1 SF

Hey guys.. i was looking at picking up some "15 Buddy Club P1 Racing SFs in Gunmetal for my '96 GSR. I was wanting to know some experiences and opinions concerning these wheels.

My current set-up is queer as folk, got the car with 16" Lexani Romas & shitty dry-rotted proxy 4s. So im hoping these 13.5 pound wheels will help me out with a few problems.

I'd also like to know a few suspension set-ups w/ these wheels - pics would be great. I know im asking for a lot but any help would be greatly appreciated

i had 15" gunmetal P1s on my 93 civic ex and loved them. not a very common wheel and they arent very expensive at all. they also are fairly light (much lighter than the 14" steelies that were on that car).

if i were going to buy wheels for my teg i would probably go with these.
what color is your car by the way? gunmetal usually looks really good on dark cars but i liked it on the milano red of my civic too.

I just painted my GSR Championship white.. and i've got a VIS CF hood.. i've seen a couple of CW 'tegs with them and i liked it.
I was going to go with the white ones, but i was afraid the white wouldn't match-up
I think they look really nice with the right size tires too, especially falkens

those wheels are undoubtly the best bang for the buck. I have the P1 racing plus and it upheld a shittt load of potholes and beatings and still looks great.

ya, ive seen em on a couple of tegs and they look pretty good. and ive heard they are not that expensive. as for suspension i suggest you go with ground controls + koni yellows, cheap yet sufficient set up.

I think they're pretty damn nice wheels, especially for the 500-550 price tag on em!

Thanks for the help guys..
How much does the koni/GC set-up usually go for? And how much of a drop would i be looking at?

- i know theres probably a million threads about that, but my question is in regards to the BC wheels (how well the suspension set-up looks/feels with them)

you can lower them like up to 3 inches since the gc are coilover sleeves. The set up will loookkk sweeet, since they are coilovers. The way the perform. I heard really good since this is supposively the best set up under $1000. You can't go wrong with this set up. I'm guessing the koni/gc would run at 800-900 new since I've seen shocks go for ~500 and coilovers ~200-300
