Default ECU question

I have a 2000 accord and wanted to know if I can chip the ECU to extend the redline a little further or can it be swapped for another ECU?

What chip/ecu do you suggest?

Default Re: ECU question (2kaccord)

extending the redline on a stock f23 motor or V6 engine will net you nothing except shorter engine life. Constantly going into 6K plus will result in need to more frequently adjust the valves.
