k question is.. has anyone switched out the projector with any usdm car. such as TL, audi, bmw, ect. and fits perfectly without any cuttin drillin or fab. modification needed. has anyone done this or this is not possible?

No matter what, its going to require modification to get a different projector in there. But don't let that worry you, it shouldn't be very difficult to get a small projector in there.

But thats the price you pay to illegally put HID projectors into the headlamps, for an illegal front end that isn't as safe as the USDM front end that actually passes federal impact requirements. Ah, the things we do because it looks cool...

it's possible.

but are you saying you have jdm itr headlights? if so you don't need to swap out jack ****.

but if you want to retro i suggest the s2k's since they are one of the smallest projectors.

They are one of the largest. Far from small.

Modded TSX is your best bang for the buck. Unless you like the way the headlights look, I would sell it to soemone else to get as much money back for it and retrofit oem reflector headlights. Of course, you can always retrofit the JDM headlights too, but if you were tight on money that's what I would do.

You should be able to use the ballast, but you aren't using D2S bulbs in those projecors are you?

Thanks

i think i got it reverse then. I'm very sure the reflector is large, but concerning the lense isn't that one of the smallest?

The lense I believe is 2 7/8", but the projector itself is much larger than Valeo, E46, TSX, etc.

But the S2000 is the nicest

no, but it's possible to retrofit.

If you don't feel comfortable "hacking" at your rather expensive headlights, I'm sure the man posting above me would be more than willing to help you out
